About This Tour
The Nabateans Treasure and Desert Serenity Tour distils Jordan's two most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites into three days and two nights, suited to travellers with limited time who are unwilling to compromise on depth. From Amman the itinerary moves directly to Petra — the ancient Nabataean capital carved into rose-red sandstone — before continuing south to the vast desert landscape of Wadi Rum for an overnight Bedouin camp.
Petra is allocated a full day: time enough to walk the Siq, stand before the Treasury, explore the Street of Facades and climb to the Monastery above the valley. Wadi Rum is experienced by 4x4 — crossing sandstone arches, wind-sculpted dunes and the valley floors that have been inhabited since Nabataean and earlier times. The night in the desert, with dinner under the open sky, is the centrepiece of the tour's second day. Amman provides an arrival orientation and a departure-morning city tour.
The tour is priced from USD 800 per person and is available year-round from Amman, with spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) recommended for comfortable Petra walking temperatures. The premium pricing reflects private transport, a dedicated English-speaking guide, Bedouin camp accommodation in Wadi Rum and all entrance fees. Extensions to Aqaba and the Red Sea can be arranged on request.
