Masjid Al Nabawi — the Prophet's Mosque — is one of the largest and most sacred mosques in the world. Built by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in 622 CE, it is the second holiest site in Islam and houses the tomb of the Prophet. The mosque's magnificent green dome is one of the most recognised symbols in the Islamic world.
The mosque can accommodate over one million worshippers and features stunning Ottoman-era architecture, retractable umbrella-shaped canopies in the courtyard, and an atmosphere of deep spiritual serenity.
